| Biography: |
Currently I'm going to University
of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus in Minneapolis, Minnesota (USA), double majoring in piano
performance and management information systems. I had my first music lesson from my mother
at the age of four, then I started studying the piano and Electone professionally at the
age of six.
I have participated in various Electone festivals, piano competitions, as well as
concerts.
I started composing music for both Electone and piano when I was 13 years old.
My achievements in Electone festivals and concours are as follow:
In 1994, I was the finalist of National YEF held in Jakarta, Indonesia (Junior category).
In 1996, I performed my own composition "Grand Symphony" at a YEF held in
Surabaya, Indonesia, and emerged as the 2nd winner (Junior "B" category).
In 1998, I performed another composition "Twilight Fantasy" at a YEF held in
Surabaya, Indonesia, and was the 1st winner (Junior "B" category)
In 1999, I performed my own composition "Reflection of the future" at a
National YEF held in Jakarta, Indonesia, and was the 2nd winner (Senior category).
In 2000, I was the 2nd winner of International Electone Concours 2000 "Section
A" held in Tokyo, Japan on December 9th and 10th, 2000. Electone model played:
EL-900m.
I enjoy arranging and composing music of all kinds (orchestral, fusion, R&B,
acid-jazz, etc.). Besides music, I also like watching movies, traveling, and sports (golf,
swimming, and tennis). |
