Waltz - A slow or fast dance in triple time with the characteristic one beat and one chord in the bar. The waltz became universally popular in the 19th century with Viennese composers.

Whole Note - Equivalent of four quarter notes (in 4/4 time, 4 beats).
Whole Tone - (I) The interval consisting of two semitones (e.g. C to D).
